On the Pat McAfee Show, Triple H praised Netflix’s unique approach, contrasting it with traditional networks like FOX. He explained that while FOX might censor inappropriate crowd chants by cutting audio or displaying a black screen, Netflix offers uncensored freedom in live broadcasts.
“Netflix is a different beast. How will commercials fit in? What’s the runtime? What are the dos and don’ts? On FOX, if fans chant something obscene, they sometimes cut to black. And you can’t control The Rock; he does his thing. But on Netflix, we won’t face those hurdles. Going live globally with everything available instantly changes the game entirely.”
Triple H is confident fans will embrace WWE’s move to Netflix. However, the true impact on the product remains to be seen until January next year.
