In a quiet retirement village, four elderly friends form The Thursday Murder Club. Their mission? To solve cold cases over tea and biscuits. But when a real murder happens nearby, their sleuthing skills are put to the test in ways they never imagined. With wit, charm, and unexpected twists at every corner, this unlikely team dives headfirst into danger—proving that age is just a number when it comes to cracking the case.

Elizabeth, Joyce, Ibrahim, and Ron—four spirited octogenarians in a serene retirement village—spend Thursdays unraveling cold cases for fun. But when a grisly murder strikes close to home, their amateur sleuthing turns dangerously real.

Helen Mirren stars as Elizabeth in her first Netflix film. Known for her Oscar-winning portrayal of Queen Elizabeth II in *The Queen* and Emmy-winning role as DCI Jane Tennison in *Prime Suspect*, Mirren previously voiced Rita St. Swithens in the adult-animated comedy *Human Resources*.

Ben Kingsley dazzles as Ibrahim. An Academy Award winner for his iconic portrayal of Mahatma Gandhi, Kingsley has also earned three more Oscar nods. Marvel fans know him as the unforgettable Trevor Slattery in *Iron Man 3*. Recently, he captivated audiences again in Wes Anderson’s Netflix short film, *The Wonderful Story of Henry Sugar*.

On May 21st, 2024, the thrilling news broke: Celia Imrie is joining the cast of The Thursday Murder Club.

On June 18th, Netflix announced that David Tennant, Jonathan Pryce, Naomi Ackie, Daniel Mays, and Henry Lloyd-Hughes have joined the cast.
